The Red Thread Publication
Because the fashion and interiors industry cannot keep up with the rampant digital age, the Red Thread publication exists to encourage slow, ethical and sustainable creativity. Though these stories are excerpts, handmade books with an accordion fold give viewers the opportunity to interact with the whole narrative presented. These creative women’s excerpts create opportunities for readers to form connections and learn more about fibers. Ultimately the print-only publication aims to serve as a platform for women artists to share their craft, and readers an invitation to engage with tactile storytelling.
